Mission Trips
 
Building communities
Missions will always be a major focus of HCHF. Every mission trip we take will involve working with the children and the community of Lamothe, by coordinating specific programs and services.
 
In the last year and a half, we have taken four mission trips to Haiti.
 
August 2006 Trip
  • Built latrines

 

April 2007 Trip

  • Brought donated clothes and toys for "Christmas in April"
  • Took measurements and made plans for the perimeter wall

  

July 2007 Trip

  • Completed of the foundation for the perimeter wall
  • Began construction of perimeter wall.

 

November 2007 Trip
  • Medical team held a free 5-day clinic and ministered to hundreds
 
Summer 2008 Trips
  • Continued work on the wall
  • Held a "Vacation Bible School" for the children

 

Summer 2009 Trip

  • Started and completed the foundation of the orphanage
  • Held english classes for children and teens

 

Spring 2010 Trips

  • Two Medical Trips
  • Fixed damaged areas from the recent earthquake
